I feel like my internet presence has been disjointed and confusing, so I've been trying to merge more things together. I'm going to run down a list of things I have to make it easier to follow what I've been up to. For those who have been playing the game to win, this list will (mostly) seem a bit redundant:
1. ART (ANSATE JONES)
My portfolio and services site:

2. MUSIC
My band's official site:

Among other things, news, pics, press kit, videos, a link to our Tumblog, Twitter, Youtube, Bandcamp and mailing list sign-up can be found here.
Our Twitter:
http://twitter.com/neverrightnow
Our Bandcamp:
http://neverrightnow.bandcamp.com
You can become a fan of Never Right Now on Facebook:

Our Youtube:

Our Tumblog:

3. TUMBLR
My Tumblog is at:
http://ans99.tumblr.com
In addition, because of all the inane book covers I used to run across in the course of my job (which at least in part had me putting up book reviews on a website), I created an additional Tumblr mocking said book covers:

Some of these seriously have to be seen to be believed.
Then, inspired by something

And finally I help mod the Advice Master Tumblog here:

4. TWITTER
My Twitter is at:

I also made a Twitter account that's about my ridiculous husband here:

Date: 2011-06-24 04:00 pm (UTC)It gets worse the longer I look at it. Academic books get the short end of the stick, in design terms. I think I would desperately hope I got a plain-color cover. JUST PUT THE TITLE ON IT, don't try for any graphics, please.
I want to read that leeches book you posted, though. It looks like a kids' book. "Mom put the leeches on her feet. They tickled! And then they started sucking her blood into their internal body cavities and swelling up. Johnny thought of the balloons Mom sometimes bought him in the park. Soon Mom's feet would be all better!"

Date: 2011-06-24 05:24 pm (UTC)It's true though; 99% of the bad book covers I find are from textbooks. It's like the designers have just given up hope.
I think you need to write that children's book. I hope you aren't offended though if I... can't read it 0_o
(And for some reason now I'm thinking of the Master writing children's books)
