name/upload 5 songs beginning with a letter designated by the tagger
comment and i'll tell you which letter to use
mine was L:
moxy fruvous- laika (live)
a jazzy live version, with lots of interesting goodies thrown in-- as was the norm for moxy fruvous in concert. my favorite version of one of my favorite fruvous songs.
amanda palmer- leeds united
we know amanda's voice is not american-idol-worthy or anything, but i love her and this song specifically for the voice cracking. i really have no idea what the song is about but who cares?
modest mouse- lounge
this is the song i keep trying to remind ken about. it's the modest mouse song i first fell in love with, because around the late 90's/early 00's i was a huge fan of songs with multiple parts that didn't necessarily fit together (see also the beatles' "baby you're a rich man," radiohead's "paranoid android").
does it offend you, yeah?- let's make out
i wanted to buy their album, marry the band and have their babies based just on this song.
tori amos- london girls
i discovered this cover song in college and for some reason found it endlessly amusing. so i used to annoy sara by singing or playing it over and over. she finally ended up just giving me the single she had with the song, probably because she couldn't stand it in her presence at all any longer.
