When I saw the subject line I thought of Herman Melville, who once wrote a poem in which he referred to Nathaniel Hawthorne as "the shyest grape." I think Herman found Nathaniel very tasty. What this has to do with actual grapes is unclear.

grapes ARE tasty! they send my rats into a frenzy during which they bite anything presented to them, and that's proof enough for me.
