my vitriol towards the mutts guy is actually from his substandard comicing combined with his fervent adoration of prop 2, which prompted him to go so far as to just completely confound the issue with his crazy ass propaganda.

the jane seymour thing is indeed referring to the actress, who is doing a bunch of commercials about her "open heart (http://www.friendsofjane.com/mer_openheart.html)" jewelry design. it ends up being pretty half-assed and boring and it looks similar in sentiment and design to this mutts thing.
