one thing that occurred to me the other day while reading lj is how privileged and lucky i feel that so many fascinating people have granted me access to the space where they post their private thoughts and feelings, count out their disasters, share the beauty they've managed to scrape out of what oftentimes is a loveless, dingy little world.
